[ It is time for pizza. It's also time for newspaper reading, which Seodore is doing at the table. ]

All these are really sensational, don't you think?

[ karamatsu's got some music magazine that has a feature on rob thomas and his collaboration with carlos santana or something, and takes a seat on the other side of the booth. his vibes are kind of uneasy, but that emotion probably isn't exactly out of place today. ]

Haha, the world really was in quite the panic back when this was going on, though. I imagine these flashy headlines sold a lot of copies.

[ He's really glad the not usual emotions are very common today. There's no need to question any of it like an unspoken rule, or at least that's what he thinks is happening. Convenient. ]

People were so afraid. If I remember right, some even built personal underground bunkers for themselves. Then there was another scare in 2012...

[ THAT one i can actually say he was in high school for, vs 2000 when i think he was probably still in his fourth decade of being 10 ]

Though that one probably didn't have anything to do with the computer systems like this did.

It's really all just a fear of the unknown. I think computers were more popular around this time? At least among the masses, yet most people didn't know what they were capable of.
