It was nice while we were cursed, I guess. It's after it wore off that was the problem. Both of us had siblings, back home. And neither of us are ever going to see them again. Not that I got along with my sister anymore, anyway, but still. It's just a reminder of what we don't have anymore. Alex trusted her brother probably more than anyone, but she doesn't know me here. She doesn't remember what I do, so that curse made her open up in a way she probably wouldn't on her own, at least not that fast. I think that freaked her out a lot.
